The 2025 Ladies Club Championship at Waterkloof Golf Club took place over the weekend of 3 and 4 May — and despite the crisp, cold weather, the competition was anything but frosty. With grit, determination, and plenty of good spirits, the ladies turned up in full force to make it one of the most fun and competitive championships in recent memory.
From the first tee shot on Saturday to the final putt on Sunday, the atmosphere was electric. The cold didn’t stop our players — if anything, it brought out their best, as they battled it out across two thrilling days of golf. The camaraderie, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit on display made for a truly memorable event.
The course itself was in fantastic condition, thanks to the hard work of the Waterkloof grounds team. Lush fairways, well-kept greens, and beautiful surroundings set the stage perfectly for this year’s showdown.
A huge congratulations goes to Leja Joubert, who walked away with the title of 2025 Ladies Club Champion! Leja’s impressive performance, unwavering focus, and consistent play earned her the well-deserved top spot. We are incredibly proud of her achievement.
We’d also like to extend a big congratulations to all the winners across the various divisions — your hard work and dedication paid off, and you made this championship one to remember.
To all our players, thank you for braving the chilly conditions and giving it your all. Your passion and energy brought the course to life.
And finally, a heartfelt thank you to the Waterkloof staff and organising committee for putting together such a well-run, smooth, and enjoyable event. Your behind-the-scenes effort truly made the weekend special.
We’re already looking forward to next year — but for now, we celebrate a weekend of outstanding golf and unforgettable moments.
