2025 Men's Club Championships

This past weekend, from the 15th to the 16th of March 2025, Waterkloof Golf Club hosted one of the most exciting and competitive events of the year — the Men's Club Championships. The weekend was a true showcase of talent, with every participant bringing their A-game to the course.

From the first swing on Saturday morning to the final putt on Sunday, it was clear that this year’s competition was going to be a thrilling one. Every player showed off their incredible skills, determination, and sportsmanship, making for a memorable championship that will be talked about for years to come.

Special mention must be made of Keagan Lloyd, who, in his usual humorous style, invited everyone for a “braai” on Sunday, convinced that he wouldn’t make the cut. Well, Keagan, we’re all still waiting for that braai invite!

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the Waterkloof staff and the organising committee. A massive thank you to everyone involved in making this event run smoothly — your efforts were truly appreciated.

And last but certainly not least, congratulations to Werner de Swardt, who claimed the coveted title of 2025 Men’s Club Champion! Werner’s consistency, focus, and impressive skill on the course earned him the top spot, and we couldn’t be more excited for him.

To all the participants — thank you for making the weekend such a fantastic display of golf. We can’t wait to see what next year has in store!
