2026 Club Champion: Handre Truter

The 2026 Men’s Club Championship was held on 14 & 15 March, and what a fantastic weekend it was! This members-only event brought together our passionate golfers for two days of competition, camaraderie, and plenty of fun.

Despite a little rain on both days, our members showed incredible perseverance and dedication, proving that a bit of weather is no match for a true golfer’s spirit. We witnessed some excellent golf, with great shots, brilliant putting, and the occasional “how did that happen?” moments that kept everyone entertained.

A special thank you goes to all our members who joined us for this prestigious event. Your energy, sportsmanship, and commitment made the weekend truly special.

We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the Waterkloof staff for ensuring everything ran smoothly and that our course looked spectacular for the championship. Your hard work behind the scenes does not go unnoticed and is what makes events like this possible.

And of course, a little shout-out to Keagan Lloyd, we’re proud to report he didn’t have to braai on Sunday this year! His game was strong enough to let him enjoy both days on the course instead. Well done, Keagan!

Congratulations to all our winners, and especially to Handre Truter, who claimed the coveted title of Club Champion 2026. Your skill, focus, and determination shone through, and you truly earned this honour.
